Believing is Believing.

When was the first time you started to believe in something? People say that we are born to the world as a plain clean white cloth and it is up to our parent to colour us according to their good or bad sense of coloring taste, to turn the art into someone or a masterpiece that they expect to become in future. Children that are born by Muslim will automatically become a Muslim child and the same situation goes to Christian or Buddha or any other religions throughout the world.

Since we are a little child we are always being reminded about this and that, the dos and don’ts in life and that is the time when we started to believe. We believe that our parent is the ultimate source for us in everything and anything that we ought to know and learn and believe. Somehow the power of believing is greater that the power of following something.

I started by believing in someone but not something. I started to believe in my mother as she is my ultimate source of everything and anything. Mother as we understand has the power to shape the child more than a father can and more than we can ever imagine. A Muslim mother can turn her children into a Christian anytime she wanted to especially when the children are still small and in the learning and believing phase.

So do we still believe the same things after 10 or 20 years? Well, my perception has never changed since then because I was very well taught to differentiate between wrong and right by my ultimate source. I still believe that I can do anything that I want as long as I put the effort into it and I still believe that if someone out there can do it, so do I. So, if you have lost your sense of believing start by trusting someone that you believe is wiser and can guide you. And only after that you can be a believer again.
