Power of Politeness.

Politeness is a powerful word nearly forgotten by everyone in their routine life. The word personally to me is so powerful where it doesn’t differentiate between generation gap and gender. People long time ago put politeness between human race especially in term of gender above others where older people and women are highly appreciated and prioritized.

Being polite clearly means that we show respect to others the same way we want others to act towards us especially to those that are slightly or far older than us. This can be done by saying hello, shaking hands, giving ‘Salaam’ for Muslims and a simple and sincere smile will do. But what happened to the young generation today? I can see that we are starting to lose our sense of politeness in each and every single day to almost everyone around surprisingly includes our parent and closest kin.

People don’t learn how to be polite from “Politeness for Dummy” complete reference book or any media or in any schools nor other higher learning institutions. Young people follow what their parents do meaning if they (children) don’t or never see their parents being polite to other people especially their own parents or siblings, the kids have no reasons to be polite to others, as simple as that because seeing is believing and the believe that make them true followers.

Politeness is a good trait everyone should practice and have before things are getting out of hands. The world will lost its original and beautiful value without politeness around; people will no longer respect each other, not to countries’ leaders, not to superiors, not to parents, not to teachers, not in any occasions, not to anyone and worse could be not even to ourselves. The meaning of politeness should be as powerful as it was before and human should consider it as one crucial part of our live.
