And so I have decided this time to take note of common mistakes done by students during their presentation on products, and here they are: (in red colours are the mistakes and in the blue are on how it supposed to be done or said)
In defining specifications/ features/ physical attributes:
- 4 inch when it supposed to be 4 inches
- many colourful when it supposed to be many colours/ variety of colours/ different colours
- they have large and small when it supposed to be this product comes in large and small sizes/ package
- they have 7 colours when it supposed to be the product is available in 7 colours which is...
- the our product when it supposed to be our product
- to make more strength when it supposed to be to give more strength/ to provide more strength
- it will on automatically when it supposed to be it will be automatically turn on
- can share many user when it supposed to be can be shared by many users
- on the plug when it supposed to be plug in the source/ switch on the plug
- easy to storage when it supposed to be easy to store/ easy to keep
Asking questions to audience:
- ask you all when it supposed to be to ask all of you/ to ask you
In introduction:
- I and my partner when it supposed to be my partner and I/ me and my partner
- students should spend more time on introduction especially in explaining the benefits of the product to the target customers which is the students and how the product can affect their daily life and routines.
